Vendors Wanted for Concession Services at Watch Hill and Sailors Haven Marinas

The National Park Service is now accepting vendor proposals for a concession opportunity at Fire Island National Seashore’s at Watch Hill and Sailors Haven, and campground services at Watch Hill. The Concession Contract would begin in 2019 and end in 2029. Proposals will be accepted through March 15, 2018 at 4pm.

The concessions are open to the public and include providing food and beverage window service to Sailors Haven marina, as well indoor seating with the potential for 100+ seats and space for outdoor concession service at Watch Hill. The Watch Hill Marina has 188 boat slips, while Sailors Haven Marina has 44 boat slips.

The most recent information regarding the current contract reports an average of $1 million gross receipts between 2013-2015, although information is not available from 2015 and on. A site visit was offered to interested vendors on Jan. 9, for potential vendors to scope out the facilities included in the concession contract in Fire Island National Seashore’s Watch Hill and Sailors Haven marinas.
