Fire Island National Seashore Offering Overnight Accommodations for the First Time

Starting Labor Day Weekend, the Fire Island National Seashore will offer overnight accommodations for the first time.

Available in the national park section of Fire Island, just south of Watch Hill, guests can now rent out the secluded Bayberry Dunes Beach House.

Guests can enjoy the beautiful beaches Fire Island has to offer, in addition to hiking trails in the Fire Island High Dune Wilderness and a guided tour of the Watch Hill nature trail.

For those who wish to look into renting out the Bayberry Dunes Beach House, the National Park Service (NPS) says they want to keep the rates affordable.

Reservations can be made through Recreation.gov. The National Park Service will also be renting out a one-bedroom cottage near Sailors Haven soon.
